You — and your body — are not a problem to fix.
Soma Soul is a space of radical acceptance, messy magic, and real connection. Some people come here to roll out a mat and sweat. Some come for therapy and deep connection. Some do both. All of it is welcome.

I’m Molly — therapist, yoga teacher, and forever believer that healing doesn’t have to fit in a box.

The Journey

I started out teaching high school English, where I quickly learned two things: I don’t always thrive in rigid systems, but I do thrive in connecting with people. That love of connection led me to open my first yoga studio — a community that taught me how powerful movement, sweat, and stillness could be. After selling the studio in 2019, I dove into clinical work, becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and eventually a Clinical Director, leading teams and building programs in recovery.

But underneath all of that professional work was my own story: growing up disconnected from my body, struggling with an eating disorder, and feeling unseen in systems that wanted me to shrink or perform instead of heal. It was through yoga, therapy, mindfulness, and soul-work that I discovered a different way forward — one that invited me to take up space instead of disappearing.

Why Soma Soul Was Born

Soma Soul is the space I wished had existed when I needed it most — a place where evidence-based therapy and embodied practice live side by side. You don’t have to do both, but you can. What matters is that you feel safe enough to show up as you are, and supported enough to grow into who you’re becoming.

We don’t do shame. We don’t do “shoulds.” We don’t do hollow, performative wellness.
We do strength and softness. We do community. We do embodiment — with a little edge.

The Soma Soul Vision

Soma Soul was created as a sanctuary — but not the quiet, incense-only kind.
It’s a space where people of all identities, bodies, and stories can show up real. A space for therapy, for movement, for conversations that matter. Healing here happens with integrity, safety, and support.

We don’t buy into “no pain, no gain” or push people past their breaking points — in the yoga room or the therapy room. Instead, we honor the body and mind’s wisdom. We sit with the hard stuff. We stretch into possibility. We expand our capacity to be with what is — messy, magical, and everything in between.

This is the work of embodiment.
This is where life gets fuller — more joy, more connection, more truth, more you.

My approach is rooted in:

  • Radical acceptance

  • Somatic + trauma-informed practices

  • Health At Every Size® (HAES)

  • Value-based action + authenticity

  • Joy, play, and the full spectrum of feeling

  • Radical authenticity – a deeply human approach

I meet every client exactly where they are — with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
This work is never about fixing. It’s about freeing.
